Step1: To start manual setup of QuickBooks go to Help and then QuickBooks Help (You can also use F1 to access directly) to find search tab. Now click search tab to enter “manual payroll” and press enter to proceed further.
Step2: Now you need to select the topic showing “Calculate payroll taxes manually”. With this option you can calculate payroll taxes, without subscribing to QuickBooks payroll. Under this section, set your company file to use the payroll manual calculation settings, and then click o manual payroll calculations link.
Step3: Now close and reopen your QuickBooks software before you start changing other settings for QuickBooks. After restart if you don’t find the payroll features under the employee menu, check that your preferences are set for payroll or call for QuickBooks payroll support.
